The Legal Archives Centre (LAC), founded in 2023, provides academic liberties to the general public without restrictions. The LAC also offers free legal information to people so they can use it to develop legal solutions for their needs related to justice by inventively utilizing digital technology. The Centre is run by senior Somali lawyers who are highly accomplished in their field, with support from an international editorial board who take an objective approach to evaluate of scientific, academic, or professional work by the same field of law. This ensures that each legal research paper, Lecture notes, and legal opinion is assessed and evaluated on its own scholarly merits and research ethics.
